If you have 14 days to tour Egypt, you will have the opportunity to see many amazing sights. Here is a suggested itinerary that will help you gain a broad understanding of the diversity of this wonderful country.

Route:
Day 1: Arrival at Cairo International Airport.
Your Egypt tour begins from your chosen hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met at the airport by our representative who will assist and accompany you in all formalities. Transfer to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids and Saqqara Full Day – Cairo.
Breakfast in the hotel. You will then be met by our Egyptologist guide who will begin your first-day tour with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza "Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus", where grandeur is embodied in the three pyramids with a limestone statue of the Sphinx guarding the entire area. Then head to one of our local restaurants for lunch. After this, you will drive to the city of Saqqara, where you will have a great time exploring the Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser. After completing the day tour, you will transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Meals included: breakfast + lunch

Day 3: Egyptian Museum – Citadel and Khan el-Khalili – Cairo
Breakfast in the hotel. Our guide will then meet you at your hotel and escort you to the start of your second-day tour of Cairo. Your tour today will be completely different and more exciting as the best of our monuments await you. Begin your tour at the Egyptian Museum, considered one of the most important museums in Egypt, housing pharaonic monuments, including those of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamun. Lunch at one of our local restaurants. After lunch, you will be driven to the Old Cairo area where you can visit the Salah El Din Citadel, which played a very important role in the defense of Egypt as it was considered the seat of power for over 700 years. Next, head to one of Egypt's most interesting and oldest markets, Khan el-Khalili, considered one of the stunning souks in the Middle East. After completing the day tour, you will transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Meals included: breakfast + lunch

Day 4: Islamic and Coptic Cairo Tour.
Breakfast in the hotel. You will then begin your tour with a visit to Islamic and Coptic Cairo. This tour is very important as you will be introduced to the greatness of Egyptian history (with Islamic history and Coptic history). You will visit the Ahmed ibn Tulun Mosque. It is the oldest intact working Islamic monument in Cairo. It also survives as a rare example of the era and architecture of the classical period of Islam. Then head to the Sultan Hassan Mosque, considered stylistically the most compact and unified of all Cairo's monuments. You will then visit the El Refai Mosque, which is separated from the Sultan Hassan Mosque by a pedestrian street. Dine at one of our local restaurants. After this, you will begin your Coptic tour from the Hanging Church (Church of the Virgin Mary), built into the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress. It is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt, dating back to around the 4th century. Next, you will visit the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), which, according to legend, was built on top of one of the places where the Holy Family rested during their flight from Herod. Continuing along this path, you will first come to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is the oldest in Egypt and dates back to the 9th century. Once you have completed this fantastic and memorable tour, you will return to your hotel. Night in Cairo. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner.

Day 5: Flight to Hurghada - Hurghada
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and check out, then we will transfer you to Cairo airport for your flight to Hurghada. Upon arrival at Hurghada Airport, you will transfer to your hotel and overnight in Hurghada. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner + soft drinks.

Day 6: Free day in Hurghada
Breakfast at the hotel and a free day. Optional excursion: Snorkeling trip to Giftun Island. We'll pick you up from your hotel for a fantastic snorkeling and desert island vacation in the beautiful Red Sea. You will go snorkeling in different places that are full of corals and magnificent colorful fish. You will have the opportunity to swim with dolphins and enjoy water sports at Giftun Island and the national park. Lunch is a buffet on board the cruise, and then we return back to the pier and then transfer you to your hotel. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner + soft drinks.

Day 7: Free day in Hurghada
Breakfast at the hotel and a free day. Optional excursion: Sunset Desert Safari in Hurghada by Jeep. You will be picked up from your hotel in a Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD, then driven 35 km through Egypt's eastern desert to a Bedouin village to see their life and traditions, then ride a camel and witness stunning views of the sunset. Dinner - barbecue, mineral water, and soft drinks included, stargazing at night on the way back from the Bedouin village to the hotel. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner + soft drinks.

Day 8: Transfer from Hurghada to Luxor – Sound and light show at Karnak Temple.
Breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada and check out, then we will transfer you to Luxor by private vehicle. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will head to your hotel to relax and freshen up. Evening Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple: Have you ever wondered what life was like thousands of years ago? You will learn about it through the magnificent sound and light show at the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. You will take part in the exciting production of Sound and Light. This spectacle will take about 60 minutes. You'll first walk through the temple grounds, and the final act will play out while you sit on the shore of the Great Sacred Lake. The play tells the story of Luxor as the capital of the ancient world. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight in Luxor. Meals included: breakfast + lunch

Day 9: Hot air balloon flight over the West Bank - Luxor, West Bank - board a Nile cruise - Luxor.
We'll pick you up from your hotel to transfer to the West Bank to enjoy your hot air balloon ride. Enjoy soft drinks before boarding a motorboat to the west bank and then being driven to the take-off area where you will begin your hot air balloon ride through the skies of Luxor's largest open-air museum. The hot air balloon ride will take about 40 minutes before you land again. You will then meet your private guide with a lunch box and begin your magical tour of Thebes, the sacred land, exploring the shores of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, considered the royal cemetery of the Theban pharaohs and rulers of ancient Egypt. Enter the tomb of King Tut Ankh Amun. After this, you will go to the house of Haovrd Carter, and visit the house that once belonged to the man who discovered the tomb of King Tut. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This temple is considered one of the most remarkable examples of ancient Egyptian architecture as it was carved entirely inside a mountain. At the end of the tour, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, owned by King Amenhotep III. You will then transfer to your ship to check in and have lunch. In the evening, staff will perform an Egyptian folklore show. There will be dinner and overnight in Luxor. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner.

Day 10: East Bank of Luxor – departure to Edfu.
Breakfast on the Nile cruise. You will then discover the east bank of Luxor, including the Karnak temple complex, which is the largest structure ever built in human history. Later you will go to visit Luxor Temple. This temple was located in the very heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main god Amon Ra. In the evening, staff will perform an Egyptian folklore show. There will be dinner and overnight in Luxor. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner.

Day 11: Edfu – Kom Ombo – departure to Aswan.
Breakfast on the cruise. The guide will then take you on a mysterious journey into the land of secrets. Today's excursion begins with a visit to one of Egypt's most remarkable temples, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After this, you will return back to your ship. Lunch will be served on board during the voyage to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon you will explore the temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sebek and Haroeris were worshiped for a time. Return to your ship and enjoy dinner on deck while admiring the unique scenery of the great Nile River. Ancient Egyptian civilization arose and flourished on its shores. Late evening arrival in Aswan and overnight. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner.

Day 12: Aswan Tours - Aswan.
Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Later, you will join your Egyptologist guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including the High Dam, which was built by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. Afterward, you will enjoy a motorboat ride along the Nile River to Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae. Then you will be escorted to visit one of the wonderful sights of Aswan - the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite and dedicated to the god Amon Ra. After completing the day tour, you will return to your ship. Lunch will be served on board. Dinner and overnight in Aswan. Meals included: breakfast + lunch + dinner.

Day 13: Cruise disembarkation – Abu Simbel Temple – Return to Cairo.
Breakfast box from the Nile cruise and departure. Later you will be driven by private car to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, you will travel to visit the temples of Abu Simbel, built by Pharaoh Ramses II. After completing the day tour, you will travel back to Aswan (the distance takes about 03 hours by car). We will then take you to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel and spend the night in Cairo. Meals included: breakfast + lunch

Day 14: Cairo International Airport – Departure.
Departure after breakfast. Our representative will pick you up. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure. Meals included: breakfast.
